Transfer Your Domain Name
You can now easily transfer your domain name to DomainPRO and receive our wholesale pricing.
Due to the deregulation of the domain name industry you now have the choice to choose which Registrar you wish to have maintain your domain name record. Most existing domain names were registered at the now defunct InterNIC at the cost of $35 US per year. The fact is that there is one central database where all domain names in the com/net/org extensions are stored (this is necessary in order to avoid the registration of identical domain names by more than one party). Thus when you transfer your domain name to DomainPRO your actual data does not even move. The difference is that you receive a lower price and better customer service than you did with InterNIC.
In order to transfer your existing domain and receive DomainPRO prices, you are required by the regulatory body (ICANN) to complete a simple Registrar Transfer Process.
Please print or read the below Instructions before proceeding: After printing insructions, Click on the Transfer Domain Name link at the bottom of this page. Begin by entering a new "User ID" and "Password" of yor choice to manage your account. If you have a nic handle, please disregard it and enter a new User ID and Password. Click the SUBMIT button You will then automatically be directed to a Transfer Domain Names screen. Enter the entire domain name (including the .COM .NET .ORG ending) one per line into the space provided. You can enter up to 25 domain names to be transfered at one time If you have more that 50 domain names to transfer please contact us at support@domainpro.com
If you have received a coupon code from one of our partners or special mailings please enter it into the provided space.
Click on the SUBMIT button Fill in the required contact information. Click on the NEXT STEP button You will be directed to the Payment screen. Fill in the required credit card information and billing information specific to the credit card you are using. Click on the TRANSFER DOMAIN NAME(s) link at the bottom of the page. The domain name(s) administrative contact will automatically be contacted by e-mail to authenticate the transfer. You must reply to the e-mail(s) you receive regarding Transfer stating that you wish to Transfer your domain name(s) to DomainPRO.
Once we have received your reply e-mail confirmation it takes less than 10 days for DomanPRO to complete the process. DomainPRO will contact you by e-mail once the Transfer is complete.
